History of the Mazda RX-7

When the Mazda Savanna RX-7 was first released in 1978, it won praise for both its performance and unique design. This vehicle was an attempt by Mazda to produce a lightweight sports car with a rotary engine, which gave it a unique advantage over other cars on the road.

Mazda launched the FC3S, the second generation RX-7, in 1985. This version had improved aerodynamics, improved performance, and more contemporary design. A 1.3-liter turbocharged rotary engine providing more power and torque powered the FC3S. It was a favorite for both street driving and motorsports because of its independent rear suspension and enhanced brakes, which offered superior control and stability.

In 1992, the FD3S, the third and last generation, made its appearance. This RX-7 model was well-known for its classic styling and superb handling. The FD3S's 1.3-liter twin-turbo rotary engine delivered a remarkable amount of power, enhancing the RX-7's standing as a true sports vehicle. The car's exceptional handling qualities were a result of its lightweight body and sophisticated suspension setup.
